Among the settings of Pennsylvania’s southern
central region are the foods, people, and sites
that make the area delicious. The river valley
coddles no less than Lancaster, Gettysburg,
Hershey, and Harrisburg. The cuisine from
this beautiful landscape is fine, fun, earthy,
and a delight to prepare.

Enjoy the anecdotes that accompany each
recipe about the locations, dishes, and other
delights of southern central Pennsylvania.
The settings cookbook tours and entertains.
Make getting out of bed at home like a bed
and breakfast getaway with accounts and
recipes from “Morning at the Milestone Inn.”
Foods can stay cozy with local grapes or
go on a journey to international vineyards
with the special “White Plates and Wine
Glasses Tasting” menu.

In “Entertaining Experts Set the Perfect
Party,” top professionals give tips on
hosting, décor, and floral design that are
helpful and oh so easy to implement.
“Foods and Sites Found in Our Settings”
is a quick reference guide to the interesting
ingredients and places mentioned
throughout the book.
